Hi, I am Carly.

A photographer who specialises in dance and movement in Byron Bay | Gold Coast | Brisbane.

Formerly a professional dancer, dance school owner and choreographer, with over 25 years experience , I am trained classically with R.A.D along with other styles such as tap, commercial, contemporary, acro, hip hop and lyrical.

This depth of knowledge and experience is essential to capture dancers with accuracy, intention, and a genuine respect for the technical foundations of each dance style.

My approach to movement is focused on creating strong muscle memory, refining technique and range to their fullest potential, and allowing artistry to emerge naturally through the process.

Having experienced and witnessed firsthand the years of discipline, training, and personal investment required to pursue this art form, my goal is always to highlight each dancer’s individuality while providing confidence, direction, and guidance throughout the session.

Every session is approached with a quality over quantity mindset, with session durations and image allocations thoughtfully curated to ensure a refined and intentional experience.
