These sessions are designed for dancers who wish to explore a more creative direction, while also building a polished and professional portfolio for company applications and CV use. Colored back drops, natural light window, use of boxes or chairs are also an options depending on length of studio session.
Audition images can be added to these session packages. Audition images adhere to a classical structure in line with each institution’s required audition poses, with a strong focus on technique, and clear presentation.

Do I have to pay upfront?
We require a 50% booking fee upon booking with balance due 48 hrs before your session date.
Please note that no booking date is secure until deposit has been paid.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are held in a professional studio or on location, depending on the aesthetic you’re drawn to.
For Studio sessions, photography studios are located:
BRISBANE: Hendra or Sunnybank hills
GOLD COAST: Molendinar or Burleigh
Location will depend on availability and creative vision.

How do I choose the right session length?
Selecting the right session length is an important part of creating a relaxed and elevated experience, as it allow is time to thoughtfully craft each image.
Wardrobe changes, footwear changes, and hair adjustments all contribute to the overall look and naturally require time within your session.
Creating strong, technically refined images is also a considered process. Each movement has been carefully trained overtime, and even the most seemingly simple positions, such as a dégagé, may be gently adjusted and perfected to achieve the most beautiful result.
If you wish to include a headshot, please note that this involves reworking the lighting setup.
As a guide, a 1.5 hour session can accommodate up to 8 final images (depending on dancers age, experience, movement choices). However, incorporating multiple looks or additional elements may reduce the time available to achieve the maximum number of images, as each detail is given the attention it deserves.
What do I bring to my shoot?
Dancers are responsible for their own wardrobe however all of my available skirts are included complimentary in your session.
Wardrobe plays a key role in creating timeless imagery. Fitted dancewear is recommended to highlight your lines andmovement taking your shape and strengths into consideration. I’m always happy to offer tailored suggestions to suit your style and goals.
